National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit institutions of higher education. NAAC’s primary objective is to ensure quality assurance and enhancement in higher education through systematic evaluation and accreditation. The process includes assessing the institution’s performance in curricular aspects, teaching-learning processes, research, infrastructure, governance, and student support services. Accreditation by NAAC serves as a benchmark for quality, promotes continuous improvement, and enhances institutional credibility both nationally and internationally.
